The two worship spaces each set the tone for worship at First Church. The Great Heritage traditional service is held in the sanctuary on the main floor of the building. The Chancel Choir and organ lead the music and congregational singing uses the hymnal. Often worship music is augmented by other groups such as bells, vocal or instrumental soloists, or liturgical dancers.
The Bridge contemporary service is held in the fellowship hall in the basement in an informal gathering with round tables. Snacks are provided. The music is lead by the praise band. Congregational singing uses a screen. The sermon is the same in both services. And there is a special children's time in both services.

Expect to Feel Welcomed
We at First Church take the United Methodist slogan seriously. Our Hearts, Our Minds, and Our Doors are open to YOU. So come with your questions, your doubts, your faltering faith. You will find people here just like you, seeking God.
Expect to be Challenged
Jesus welcomed everyone and called all to embark on the journey of faith. His challenge to us all is to live in faith and in love for one another, to foster justice, and in becoming disciples, to be transformed through his love. In addition we are tasked with sharing the gospel of Jesus with others.
Expect to Experience God's Presence
That's what worship is all about. We come expecting to meet with God. You can expect to have your souls stirred through inspiring preaching, great music and quiet times of reflection.
